This one was inspired by an Islamic Carpet in Alhambra, Spain.

Patterns.

I'm currently creating different patterns using Islamic emblems and symbols, but still giving it a modern look and feel by using bright colors. These patterns will be printed on fabric and used for chapter openers and for the doll's outfits...I'm so excited about this whole project I wish I can fast forward to see the outcome, no wait, this way I won't be able to go through this whole process...never mind!

Amal Logo-Phase One.

If you take a closer look, the letters A, M, A, L, make the 8-point star, that is the main title of this project. Amal is translation for Hope in Arabic, and is my name, Lama, written backwards.
